WASHINGTON, DC DHS INTRODUCES UNIQUE SERVICE CONCEPT

After operating a prototype business for the past 22 months it was announced today that Delbe Home Services (DHS) would immediately begin to expand its services throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.

"It has taken us this long to develop and refine our unique home service concept. During that period of time we intentionally kept growth to a minimum and word of the service very quiet so we could address the many questions and points associated with developing a new home service concept. It is now time we introduced our service to the general public," stated David Burka, one of the company's Principals.

Scott Burka, the company's other Principal went on further to explain:
"Its our objective to take the lead in providing an all-encompassing service which will alleviate the homeowner's frustrations when it comes to maintaining, repairing and improving their home and lawn. Truthfully, I don't see why we can not take this concept and business to the franchising level. Nationally, this is a highly fragmented industry with close to $120 billion in revenues. In particular, as substantiated by the article in Washingtonian Magazine, the Washington, DC market provides us with an opportunity to grow very quickly."

DHS is a unique property management service concept for homeowners developed by David and Scott Burka. DHS is a membership-based service company that assists homeowners (members) with their home's maintenance, repair and improvement problems and needs. DHS provides its members with licensed and insured contractors, handles scheduling and assigns a personal service representative to manage every member's job. As a full-service company, DHS differs from its competitors since, (i) it is a 24 hours a day, seven days week service, (ii) is not a sole source provider of contractors, but is able to provide its members with multiple proposals from different contractors and, (iii) is able to meet all of a homeowner's job requests. The unique element of this service is that it brings a high level of personal service and reliability to an industry often lacking in both by the use of the DHS personal home service representative program and the proprietary computer software program. DHS does not limit the scope of its services, but member's service requests generally fall into the following categories: air conditioning and heating, electrical, plumbing, general repairs, routine maintenance, and landscaping. Featured benefits of the service include an initial consultation and walk-through, a high level of personalized service, a guarantee on the completed service work, a (800) telephone number home care hot line, key service, a subscription to the Delbe Pointers newsletter, and someone available to answer your questions.
