About Us

Founded in 1980, Delbe is a full-service property management firm, serving community associations in the Washington DC Metropolitan region.

Delbe possesses a wide range of management experience in both residential and commercial properties. We offer a large range of services including a state of the art accounting system which allows us to provide customized financial statements, an in-house CPA, 24-hour service and demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation.

We have been members of Community Associations Institute (CAI) for over 20 years, hold their Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and their Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation. We manage over 100 residential properties primarily ranging in size from 10 units to 250 units. We take pride in our service record and the long tenure we have with many of our clients.

We go the extra mile in everything we do including making the principals of our firm available 24 hours day and on call for our emergency service, providing services such as free direct debit availability for assessment payments and even attending your budget meeting with a laptop containing the property's financial information.

Broad Experience

Our extensive breadth of experience is another advantage. We not only manage properties; but also have development and construction experience. This knowledge equips us to easily handle major repairs and to better work with the many vendors servicing our client properties.

Among the many large projects we've managed are window replacements, elevator modernizations, re-piping, paving, balcony repair, and roofing. Close oversight of projects and continuing consultation with clients helps ensure successful results.

Financial Expertise

Keeping clients on track financially is central to our services. Our seasoned financial management team is led by Delbe's Chairman, David Burka. A Certified Public Accountant, he exercises direct oversight of every financial report we generate and is supported by a full complement of accounting staff.

We provide customized statements, analyses, and projections tailored to the exact format clients specify, or designed to meet their special requirements. This lets you keep a close eye on your finances without having to wade through lengthy standardized reports full of irrelevant information.

Delbe's community association division was established in 1993 in recognition of the fact that the small community association market was vastly under-served by professional firms offering competitive pricing.
